Jean y France

We never thought that we can meet such wonderful couple, Cristina and Raúl, at FIN DEL MUNDO. Thank you for gracious memories, smiles, tango lesson, accordion, breakfast and confortable room! We try to you two in the future. Those who choose Patagonia Ushuaia for honemoon.

Elston y Jacklin Hill

When Jackie and I came to Ushuaia three years ago, a professional travel company arranged our visit in Ushuaia. We took the standard group tour of the park and the usual voyage in the Beagle Channel. This time we stayed with a local family and rented a car for four days. What an improvement this made in experience!

Our hosts were Raul and Cristina, the owners of Tango B&B. They are political science professors at the local university. What terrific hosts they were! Our first night we were treated to an accordion concert and lecture on the history of Tango.
This was followed by an hour's lesson on doing the Tango. Their philsophy is to treat their guests like their own children and they do a terrific job.

OK, those of you who know me are wondering, Elston dancing? There were two other guest couples and they
took the lessons, but I could not resist the photo op.
Raul speaks good English. We usually spent an hour or two each day conversing with them and learning about the area. Raul also gave us lots of advice on where to go.
While there are now many planes and tourists to Ushuaia, the nice thing about our stay is that we were usually off  away from the tourist hordes moving in packs on the two standard tours.

Dear Raoul & Cristina
We return from our Antarctica expedition woozy and weary and were hapilly greeted by our friends. This short stay was even better than before because we returned stayed with two special people, our friends. Reach for the stars, enjoy your guests and do see South Georgia!
With much affection and an invitation to come to see us in WA, USA
Jackline and Elston Hill

I´m sure that I never forget TANGO B&B wich has a wonderful panorama. As we heard yesterday was a Raul´s birthday, we made ORIGAMI (shape of crane). We hope to ORIGAMI "Love" (Ai), Health (Kenkou), Luck (kouun) and Thanks (Kansya). Arigatou!

Raul and Christina are very welcoming and they take a lot of interest in their guests. It is a very clean and warm B&B. Tango B&B has good views of the Beagle Channel and they supply a particularly fine pair of binoculars to look at the channel, the stars and if you ask nicely, their boat! An exciting aspect of our stay was the tango lesson which was laid on with champagne and great enthusiasm. We will have great memories of our stay in Ushuaia and Raul and Christina for many years to come.
