Penguins tour
Starts from the local port in modern minibuses northeast direction, we go on the National Route No. 3 and Provincial Route J, toward the Estancia Harberton.

Estancia Harberton was founded in 1886 by the Anglican missionary Thomas Bridges, is located 90 km. away from Ushuaia, on the shores of the Beagle Channel. Is the port closest to the Isla Martillo were the pnguins are, then sailed into semi-rigid boats (boat suitable for navigation in the area). (Time Navigation 15 min.)

Isla Martillo (or "Yecapasela" language Yaghán), during the summer season Magellanic penguins in the area are established on the island for reproductive purposes; share the habitat with Papua penguins, albatross, petrels, Skúas, Cormorants, Jotes, and other birds. Disembarked on the island next to the guide to learn habits, characteristics and nesting area for each species.

Seal's Island
Approximate duration: 2:30 hs.
The tour start at the touristic pier " Don Eduardo Arturo Brisighelli ", throughout the coast of Ushuaia, having a view of the most important buildings, Maritim Museum (old prison), Museum of the End of the World, industrial area, installed from 1980, etc.
From this point, the landscape is a combination of sea and mountains, and the mounts Olivia, Five Brothers, the Fique and Túnel "estancias", and the Encajonado River can be seen.

The catamaran then sails to the middle of the Beagle Channel, towards the southwest, arriving to the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, at the archipelago that has the same name.
In one of these islands it is possible to observe pieces of the ship Monte Cervantes, which was shipwrecked in 1930. Towards the Seal's Island, it is possible to observe the games of these peculiar sea mammals and in complete silence thecatamaran sails around the island during about 20 minutes observing its permanent habitat, it is a wonderful scene. Then the catamaran will go towards the Birds Island to see the Magellanic Cormorants, the Imperial Cormorants, the Giant Albatrosses, Petreles Fullman, Squas and 20 different species of sea birds. Later, sailing through Paso Chico, the way back to Ushuaia, with a view of the beautiful frame, that the Le Martial Mount and its glacier gives to the city.

Lapataia bay (inside the National Park, were the route Nº 3 ends)
This one includes the sea lions, the birds and the lighthouse Aproximate duration 4hours Port Arias is located at Lapataia Bay, the place where our catamaran starts the tours. There we will embark in one of them to sail to the east towards Punta Tortuga, that will indicate the entrance to Lapataia Bay, to continue sailing by Ensenada Bay, the Redonda and Estorbo islands, Golondrina Bay and the Ushuaia Peninsula arriving to the Bridges archipelago, where a lot of birds and sea mammals are concentrated.

The island Alicia is famous because of the large Imperial Cormorant colony that inhabits it and we do not have to forget to mention the Seal's Island, where is possible to observe the two different species of these mammals.
Then we will sail towards the the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse, from where we will initiate the way back to the city of Ushuaia, sailing alongside the south coast of the of Tierra del Fuego Island towards the west. In this zone Port Tunel stands out, old sawmill and "estancia", place visited by many differents scientists to study the "yamana" culture.
Entering the bay of Ushuaia, will be surprised by the wonderful view of the city and the Le Martiales mounts that surround it. The excursion finalizes at the touristic pier " Eduardo Brisighelli ".

Penguin´s Island
This one includes the sea lions, the birds and the lighthouse
Aproximate duration 4hours
The sailing route is the same as the one to the Harberton "Estancia" with the difference that we do not visit the "estancia", sailing back to Ushuaia, without entering the Harberton Bay.
In this excursion we visit Remolino "Estancia", in whose coast it lies the hull of the cargo vessel and passengers Mte. Sarmiento. The old main house of this "estancia" was refaced, and in one of their rooms the history and recovered objects of this shipwreck are exhibited.

The Catamaran departs from the touristic pier with Southeastern direction, sailing first in the Ushuaia Bay and with the frame of the capital of Tierra del Fuego to our backs. Already in the middle of the Beagle Channel, we will be with the archipelago where the Alicia is inhabited by an important colony of imperial cormorants. During the tour we will have the opportunity to observe the majestic Black Eyebrow Albatross, as well as Scuas and different kind of gulls, without forgetting the funny steamer ducks or Alakush.

Our navigation continues and we now went to the area of the Les Eclaireurs Archipelago. Here we visit the Seal 's Island to watch the two species of sea lions, typical of the channel (one and two hairs). On another islands a lighthouse was built and it has the same name as teh archipelago. It was indeed in this zone where Cruise Mte. Cervantes to sank in 1930. Towards the east we will sail to Almanza Port (Argentina) and Port in front of Williams Port (Chile) to enter later in the area of the Mackinlay Pass to go directly to the Martillo Island to watch the elegant magellanic penguins. The excursion continues now towards the zone of Harberton "estancia" where we will enjoy a short walk organized through this historical settlement. Once the walk is finished, we embark again to initiate our navigation back to Ushuaia sailing through the Guaraní Pass, passing by Almanza Port where some habitants are dedicated to the fishing of the salmónidos and king crab hunt.

National Park Tierra del Fuego
Distance: 20 Km.
Approximate Duration: 4 hs.
It is located 11 km away from the city. We will be able to appreciate lakes, lagoons and rivers within its limits, and their exit towards Beagle Channel, characteristic that makes the difference with the other national parks of our country.
Departing from the Maipu Avenue towards the southwest by the national route nro. 3, we will drive out of the city passing by the slope of the Susana Mount, witness of the work of the priosners of the old prison, where now the Southern Fuegian Railway is located. Here we will stop for this optional tour. +

Continuing through the valley to the deviation that take us to the Ensenada Bay, where we will be able to contemplate the Redonda and Estorbo Islands and on the other coast of the Channel of Beagle, the snow-white Mountains of the Sampaio Chain (Chile). Back again on the national route #3 with the fuegian forest and its flora close to the road we will go to the Roca Lake to do a long walk by the lake coast and by the Lapataia river, originated in the lake. From this point we can see the Cóndor Hill natural border with Chile.
We will go towards the other end of the Park, where finalizes the route nro. 3 at Lapataia Bay, on the way to the mentioned bay we will observe the Green Lagoon and the Black Lagoon, large growing peat bog. Finally we will pass by the beaver dams, whose footpath will lead to Lapataia Bay.

Lakes Fagnano and Escondido
Distance: 65 Km. Duración
Approximate duration: 6 1/2 hs.
Deaprting from Ushuaia and again on the National route #3 (Pan-American) towards the north of the island, to reach the Fuegian Andes through valleys covered by peat bogs.
We will cross the Carbajal, the Huskies, Tierra Mayor and Las Cotorras valleys, where it is possible, during the winter to practice the croos-country ski style. The next point of the tour will be the Garibaldi Pass (450 mts over the sea level), which we will use cross the Mountain range of the Andes, with the beautiful view of the Lakes Escondido and Fagnano. From here we will start the way down to the other side of the Andes and will stop at Petrel "hosteria" besides the Escondido Lake, after a short stop will continue to the sawmills area, specifically to the Martinez sawmill ( out of operation this days ), at the coast of Fagnano lake and after visiting the Fagnano lake we will go back to Las Cotorras valley to taste the typical fueguian lamb barbecue.

Horse riding in the Susana Mount
Duration: 2 hs or 4 hs. Dificulty: low.
This riding is along the old paths the convicts at Ushuaia prison followed to get into the woods they used to cut down. Going up on sediments of an ancient glacial moraine, adventurers will discover outstanding panoramic views of Ushuaia city, the Peninsula, the Beagle Channel and the Bridges Islands. The rides continues through the exuberant vegetation of the Sub-Antarctic forest offering magnificent species such as lengas, notros trees and calafates (native shrubs), as well as varied bird species.

Upon arriving at the cost of the Beagle Channel, riders will enjoy the view of daunting Chilean islands Navarino and Hoste.
