The Tango ByB is a perfect place to stay in Ushuaia. The rooms are clean and have a private bathroom. Breakfast is good; you can have coffee, tea, juice, toast and medialunas. The ByB is located in a quiet area and from the living room you have a nice view. You will get some exercise when you walk to the city centre and back every day. But the best of this hostel are the hosts. Christina and Raul are very friendly and nice people. During our stay we felt like home! Thank you!

Rauls enthusiasm and friendliness was apparent from the time we made our booking. We were sure we would receive a warm welcome and we did. My cousin and I stayed for three comfortable nights. Raul promised us the best shower in Argentina and indeed it was. Raul, Christina and their daughter went out of their way to help us plan the rest of our visit, when we were unsure of local contacts. The Tango and accordion evening, led by Raul was enjoyed by all the guests and left us with very happy memories of our stay in Ushuaia. We had a wonderful time!

Somos Oscar y Cristina, que estuvimos alojados en vuestro Bed and Breakfast el año pasado del 2 al 4 de octubre. Os prometimos enviaros las fotos que nos hicimos con Cristina en la casa antes de marcharnos, y pedimos una y mil veces disculpas por no haberlas enviado antes, pero bueno, mas vale tarde que nunca.
El resto del viaje que hicimos fue genial, nos gustó mucho sobre todo el Calafate, ya que los glaciares son espectaculares, especialmente el Perito Moreno. La verdad es que el viaje completo fue buenísimo, nos llevamos un recuerdo maravilloso de Argentina. Sí tenemos que confesar que el tango no lo hemos practicado desde que volvimos, así que lo poco que aprendimos en aquella lección que nos disteis casi lo hemos olvidado, a ver si algún día nos animamos y seguimos practicando.
Desde aquí os damos de nuevo las gracias por hacer nuestra estancia en Ushuaia tan agradable y ojalá que algún día nos volvamos a ver.

Dear Raul and Cristina:This is Cecilia and Bogdan, the Romanian couple living in Texas; we visited Ushuaia in March in our second Argentine trip. It’s been almost three months since we’ve retuned from our trip but the memories are so fresh in our minds. It was a great experience overall, but our stay with you at Tango B&B was particularly special! So much to see, such beautiful landscapes, so much to learn about a culture… We feel now we didn’t spend enough time with you! You not only opened a beautiful, sparkling house to us, you offered us the feeling of home; so eager to share with us your passion for music, for dance, for cultures, and people! And like us, you are so curious to lean about others.
I remember the Tango night, with wonderful red Argentine wine and passionate accordion. I remember the couple from Tennessee asking if tango was a style of music or a style of dance. And I loved your answer: TANGO IS A WAY OF LIVING! So true! Raul, I want to thank you for an incredible interpretation of Adios Nonino by Piazzolla; for sharing with us the story of the song and the story of the beautiful Argentine woman who became the princess of Dutch hearts! While playing it you seemed transformed, the passion you’ve poured into it was visible. Thank you for that! We’ll never forget… We hope Cristina recovered from her cold fast enough and we hope you had a nice vacation in return. We wish to come back someday! And stay longer! And get to tango! Hola Cristina y Raúl,
Llegamos en Quebec lunes el 5 de febrero hacia 11:00 horas. Hacía un poco frío (-22 Celcius --> -35 C con el factor de enfriamiento del viento).
Nuestro viaje de tres semanas en Argentina fue muy agradable. Vimos muy bonitos paisajes y nos entrevistamos con gente muy sympatiques.

A pesar del frío, estamos contentos de estar de vuelta a la casa y de volver a ver nuestros niños, padres y amigos.
Les agradecemos mucho su hospitalidad. Muy apreciado.
